I’ve been watching Alicia sleep for the last half hour. She’s gorgeous in her sleep. It’s like watching a precious doll resting in my bed.

Everything about her is perfection. Her chin, her ears, even the arch of her brows. She looks like she was molded and painted by a master artist.

After helping her to clean up the money we scattered on the counter during our lovemaking in the school, we locked up and headed for my house. I was pleased when she agreed to leave her car behind to ride with me in my truck. I wanted her with me, as near as I could get her.

Reaching to brush a lock of hair out of her face, my mind goes back to last night. Each session only became more passionate and intense. I watched her come to life last night beneath me, over me, beside me. There isn’t a way that I didn’t take her. I covered every position I had on my list.

Looking down at her body beneath the sheets, I’m tempted to have her again. She opened up, but I know I didn’t reach that place she’s keeping locked away. The temptation to find the right thread to pull is too great.

I reach for her hip in hopes to coax her inner vixen out. However, my phone buzzes on the nightstand. Tearing my eyes away from her cute nose and lush lips, I grab my phone to read the text.

“Fuck,” I mutter under my breath.

I totally forgot Shane said he’d be bringing the kids over for breakfast this morning. It’s his day with the kids, but somehow I got roped into breakfast and a sleepover tonight. I turn back to look at Alicia, debating whether to wake her.

She hasn’t been asleep for that long. I decide to allow her to rest a little longer. A smile turns up my lips when I remember her request for strawberry pancakes. I’ll be making those this morning along with the usual for the brats and my brothers.

I won’t fool myself into thinking Kevin and Trent aren’t going to show up for breakfast. This place will be a full house soon enough. Alicia will be getting to meet most of my family. I groan. That may send her running again.

With that thought, I sigh and toss my legs over the side of the bed. Running a hand through my hair, I start to make a list to start my day. I didn’t go for my run this morning because I was in the middle of a much different type of workout.

Shower, dress, and make breakfast.

I’ll get to planning the rest of my day after Alicia wakes. I want to spend more time with her. While having her in my arms all night was phenomenal, I want more. Shane will be taking his turn with the kids back.

I want to spend the day listening to that sweet, soft voice and watching that smile on her pretty face. I need to take her back to get her car, but I hope to make that a trip for much later in the day.
